Hapoel Haifa announced last night the appointment of Nir Klinger as the team's coach.
Now, after finishing a season with a loss to Hapoel Nof Hagalil (1: 0), the Reds will start building the staff, and there is quite a bit of work.
Klinger is interested in bringing the Moldavian striker, Ion Nikolesco, who played for Maccabi Petah Tikva, who was relegated to the national league to Haifa. Nikolesco arrived in January under Klinger and scored five goals for the Malabes. One of the best this season.
At the same time, Klinger will consider joining players on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv. The names of Ido Shachar and Bar Cohen are on the agenda, with the first being one of the main goals in the summer, having already been loaned to the club in the past. The season is hurting, but he does not currently hold a contract and is considered a free agent.

In another matter, CEO Ruby Regev will end his position soon. This will create a problem for Haifa, since the previous CEO, Oren Sterling, is still on forced leave due to the investigation conducted against him.
If Regev helps, Katz may return Sterling to full-time employment, until a final decision is made on whether to indict him.
