Repeat Ritual: Ariel Atias Sets a New Israeli Record in 10 | Israel today

The Israeli champion once again surpassed himself after finishing in first place with 7343 points, at the Missouri Championship: "Thank you to everyone for the support and love from Israel"

Do it again.

Ariel Atias, tonight (Saturday through Sunday) set a new Israeli record among 10, after finishing in first place with a result of 7343 points, in the Missouri Championship.

For Atias, this is an improvement of 112 points to its previous record set just less than a month ago.

"A slight feeling of missing out, to improve a personal record in a great battle without improving a single personal record in any of the professions, it sucks, but I will take the Israeli record with both hands and move forward. Thank you all for the support and love from Israel, miss and see you soon."

At the same time, Gashau Ayala set a new Israeli record of 10,000 when he finished fourth in the competition in London with a result of 27: 49.88 minutes.

As you may recall, just three weeks ago, Bukaio Melda set a new Israeli record (28: 00.76) in the 10,000 meters after seven years and tonight Ayala improved the record again by 11 seconds.

He is in fact the first Israeli to drop from 28 minutes.

Earlier, Gashau's brother, Yehuda Darba Ayala achieved a new Israeli record in the 5000 meters up to the age of 23, when he won the Birmingham competition with a result of 13: 46.57.

At the same end, Atka Damasia set the criteria for the World Youth Championship when he finished in 13th place with a result of 14: 12.66 minutes.
