Tragedy in Argentina.

Tonight (Saturday through Sunday), 27-year-old former striker Maxi Roland passed away as a result of a fatal car accident that also led to the death of his 30-year-old brother Ariel Hernan, who was also a footballer who played in the regional league in Argentina.

The two have another footballer brother, Leonardo Rolon who was not with them at the time of the accident.

According to reports, the two were in a Fiat Punto and made their way to Rosario for a family reunion, but during the trip, for an unknown reason, they lost control of the vehicle, collided with a tree and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Maxi, the younger brother, was also the senior and best-known footballer among them and not in vain.

In the summer of 2011 he was promoted to the Barcelona youth team and three years later went on to the reserve team, Barcelona B, but ended his career in Spain in February 2016, then returned to South America when he signed with the Brazilian luxury team Santos and was a partner in winning the championship.

However, about six months later he returned to Europe when he signed the Spanish Premier League logo, but also left it within a year with almost no playing for the Argentine Arsenal.

From there he continued on to teams in Chile, returning to Spain and leaving for Iraq before retiring about a year ago.

In fact, Maxi Roland's biggest achievement, and also the reason why Argentina is remembered to this day, is winning the South American Championship with Argentina until the age of 20 in 2015 - then his twin brother Leonardo also collaborated with the team.

Two years earlier he had won with Barcelona in the Youth Champions League.
