The municipality of Dimona, led by Mayor Bnei Bitton, has decided to commemorate the memory of the late Mirit Harari and to name after it Dimonight 2022, Dimona's first night race, which will be held this coming Thursday - 19.5.22 starting at 19:00.
The late Mirit Harari, who died at the age of 52, after a long and stubborn battle with cancer, moved an entire country with her personal story and especially the much optimism, values and inspirational messages she spread to everyone before her death. Mirit herself was an outstanding athlete Alongside extensive social activity for others and for populations with special needs.
The Dimona Mirit Harari Night Race, produced by the Municipal Sports Authority and Alternative 1, will include four different allotments, including two competitive running allotments of the 10 km and 5 km end, of the 2k long family end. And allocates a central and special community (600 meters long) in which populations with special needs, organizations and social associations will take part. Of Mirit, a native of the city of Dimona, will be the guest of honor at the night race and will even jump off the various running assignments together with Mayor Bnei Bitton.

Every trainee who came to it was first asked to do two things, one, to start physical activity of any kind, and the other thing, is to volunteer for social activities through some association and contribute to society. The upcoming Dimona race definitely combines these two important things."
It should be noted that before the night race, there will be a colorful sports happening for the whole family (Ami Park, starting at 16:00) with activity complexes, sports inflatables, extreme facilities, stalls selling sports brands, food complexes and performances for children.
At the end of the allotments and after the distribution of prizes to the winners will be held in the park, the main show that will close the event - a live performance by Anna Zack.
