In preparation for the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, which will take place between June 15 and 19 at the Tel Aviv Expo, ticket sales for the event opened today (Sunday).
Delegations from 39 countries will participate in the competition, including Italy, Bulgaria, France and others.
The Russian and Belarusian teams are not allowed to participate due to the invasion of Ukraine.
The Israeli team will compete under the leadership of the head national coach Ayelet Sussman, together with the three coaches Ella Smolov, Natasha Stepanova and Natalie Malka, and the assistant coaches Ida Meirin and Alona Koshevetsky, the team manager is Natasha Asmolov.
The team will include Daria Atmanov and Adi Katz in the personal senior category.
The gymnastics team in the group senior category: Hadar Friedman, Ofir Shaham, Diana Svertsov, Shani Baknov, Rumi Paritzky, Amit Hedvat, Emily Malka, Michaela Moshe and Shani Katiev.
In the individual junior category, 4 gymnasts will compete who will be finally selected near the time of the competition.
The Israel Gymnastics Association has in recent years hosted prestigious international competitions such as the European Championships in Artistic Gymnastics in Holon in 2016, the European Acrobatics Championships in 2021, and will also host the 2024 World Acrobatics Championships.

Tickets can be purchased at the event starting at NIS 65 for the qualifiers, up to a subscription of NIS 300 for all competition days.
