It is an event that is both traumatic and unprecedented in a sport that is usually spared.
We are on Wednesday May 11 when Sofiane and Nacime, two brothers aged 26 and 21, are victims of a physical attack of incredible violence on the part of about twenty individuals at the end of the handball match that they had just arbitrated.
That evening, Sofiane and Nacime, two licensees from the Argenteuil club, are at the whistle of the match between the clubs of Garges-Sarcelles and Franconville (Val-d'Oise).
A seemingly banal evening for these two young men who have regularly put on the referee's costume for ten years.
