– TSV Moosburg has two new board members in Manfred Hofmann (55) and Josef Meier (72).
On Friday evening, after almost three years, 50 of the 600 or so members appeared at the annual general meeting in the sports home to elect the new club leadership.
And she would like to change a few things in the future and bring TSV back into more promising waterways, emphasized Sepp Meier.
Because at the moment things are looking anything but rosy for the people of Neustadt, especially when it comes to football, as the new TSV boss and previous technical director Manfred Hofmann reported.
The first team has been relegated from the district league and will break up.
Hans Heim is already the third coach in the current season and should form a powerful squad for the coming round.
In which league it is not yet clear: there are many indications of the A-Class, for which, according to Hofmann, the application for regrouping was made to the association in good time.
Whether there will still be a reserve in the B-class has yet to be decided (see interview on the right).
Numerous new registrations for E and F youth
So it's reassuring that at least the youth sector came through the pandemic relatively unscathed.
Although the game operation was impaired, the A and B youth as well as the age groups from the C to the E juniors could be occupied as a game community with Buch and Kronwinkl, as well as with their own teams.
In addition, there were hardly any departures, since the beginning of the year there have been numerous new registrations in the E and F youth, reported youth leader Martin Stachowski.
What is still missing, however, are enough coaches and supervisors for the youngsters.
The TSV football division lacks staff in almost all areas.
Even with Alex Stecher in the referee area, the required target for referees is not met.

Corona caused fluctuating membership numbers in the youth dance group, and the number of performances fell.
For the coming months, however, a number of events are planned under the proven leadership of Sandra Lindner - and the training should continue as normal.
The same applies to Helga Beisl's walking group and Barbara Bugl's women's gymnastics.
Four-digit plus generated
When it came to finances, Gerhard Maronn had good news.
Despite some major investments such as the extractor hood and the gas connection in the sports center, the new awning over the restaurant terrace or the new LED floodlight system on the adjacent square, a four-digit increase has been achieved.
The chief financial officer is worried about the increasing vandalism around the sports facility.
This would constantly result in additional costs, and initial talks with Moosburg's mayor Josef Dollinger about a security concept have so far been disappointing.
After the discharge of the board of directors, the new management team was elected by a show of hands in a block for the next two years.
Despite three dissenting votes, the previous chairman Thomas Beisl was able to congratulate his successors on their election.
Three valued members, Ursula Schimitze, Willi Hobmeier and Martin Oehm, left the previous body.
At the end of the meeting, the budget for 2022 with a volume of 100,000 euros was also approved.
