Villages with fight, luck and Huge

The TSV Dorfen offered a performance that was impressive.

Dorfen – The footballers of TSV Dorfen achieved a somewhat fortunate 1:1 (1:1) draw at TSV Buchbach 2, which fielded nine players from the regional league squad.

Nevertheless, the point win was not undeserved.

The Deißenböck men put up a great fight.

First, the start made to measure for the Isenstadt.

The first corner kick made it 1-0.

Fabio Zöller brought the leather in the middle.

Hannes Hellfeuer was spot on there and headed in from a short distance (5').

Then Lukas Sehorz sprinted over Yusuf Mutlu, but was too harmless in the end - TSV goalkeeper Johannes Huge had no trouble (10th).

The hosts were very high and showed aggressive pressing.

As a result, an orderly build-up of the game was almost impossible for the villagers.

But they bravely held back at all times, showed great commitment and were able to set pinpricks again and again.

After a perfect pass from assistant coach Armin Feckl, Gerhard Thalmaier was pushed too far and only hit the right outside post from too acute an angle (16').

Goalkeeper Huge saw a concealed shot by Christoph Steinleitner from 22 meters out late, but was able to clear it with his fingertips for a corner (28').

Then a controversial scene: Tobias Sztaf ran alone towards Huge, who stretched out towards him, and the experienced striker took off immediately.

There was the penalty he wanted, but in question.

The man who was fouled started, but Huge was able to clear the corner with a reaction worth seeing (33').

Huge was only able to parry a shot from Tobias Maus from 17 meters out, but Daniel Brandwirth aimed over the goal from seven meters out (38').

But then the time had come: After an unsuccessful defensive attempt by Dorfen, Buchbach's captain Thomas Weichselgartner got a shot from 18 meters and it landed unstoppable for Huge in the left corner (44').

In the second 45 minutes it was almost a game for a goal, namely the Isenstadt team.

But they mobilized the last of their strength and vehemently opposed it.

Keeper Huge was often the center of attention, who held first-class.

At the other end, Steer was only able to parry a free kick, but then Manuel Zander was pushed too far to put the ball in the goal (61').

Shortly thereafter, Veit Prenninger missed Huge alone (63').

Huge was able to clear Manuel Mttera for a corner with his fingertips (74'), and he was also able to distinguish himself from Luca Müller's powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area (76').

The Dorfeners were very lucky in stoppage time when the ball jumped across the goal line from the left inside post before Benedikt Hönninger was able to finally clear and hold on to the hard-fought draw for his team.
