In the shadow of the many rumors about his expected return to Maccabi Tel Aviv, the Israeli star who is ending a contract at PSV Eindhoven announced today (Monday) that he is suffering from a groin injury that will disable him for three weeks, and therefore will not take part in the Israeli team's upcoming campaign.
Yesterday (Sunday) Zehavi was absent from the Eindhoven squad, in the victory over Zola in the final round of the Dutch league following the injury.
The striker announced on his Instagram page: "Unfortunately Rabbi Adar is out of the team's upcoming mission due to a minor injury that will put me off for about 3 weeks. I know everyone is waiting to know about my next destination when the contract expires in the Netherlands, and I promise to update "
