Summary: Boca Juniors - Racing Club (Penalties) (Sports 1)
We've already heard of weird and extreme things football fans do for their team, but the next story coming from Argentina is extreme on every scale.
A Racing Club fan has reached the League Cup semi-final match against Boca Jr. with his grandfather's skull.
Yes, you read that right.
The fan brought with him the skull of his grandfather who died several years ago with the belief that it would bring good luck to his team.

The skull did not help in the end.

This fan was caught on camera of course and said in response: "This skull belongs to my grandfather, Valentin Aguilera, a fan of racing to the death. Racing is my and my grandfather's love too. He wanted to be here, so I brought it."
By the way, the fan's grandfather, or rather the skull, did not really help Racing, which, although it finished 0-0 with Boca Juniors' luxury club, lost 6: 5 in the penalty shootout after a critical miss by Emiliano Insua.
