The 2021/2022 season is about to end on Saturday with the last round games of the top playoffs in the Premier League, while the lower playoff teams went on summer break already last Saturday.
The last in the table, Hapoel Nof Hagalil, parted ways with the league with a 0: 1 victory over Hapoel Haifa, and very quickly parted ways with its coach Shai Barda, who did not meet the task of survival.
However, Barda did not remain unemployed for too long, as today (Tuesday) the second relegated team, Maccabi Petah Tikva, announced his appointment as coach for the 2022/2023 season.
In the team of chairman Avi Luzon, they decided not to wait too long with the preparations for next season, when the task is clear - to get back to the Premier League immediately.
"I am very happy to come to the Maccabi Petah Tikva club," Barda said briefly, and he will soon begin building the team's staff.
