FC Bayern II: Martin Demichelis' management style raises questions

Was it his last game with the U23s?

Martin Demichelis is traded as a Bundesliga coach, although the ex-professional has a lot of room for improvement in several areas.

Munich – The first home defeat of the season in the last home game once again mercilessly revealed the weaknesses of the small Bavarians, which ultimately turned out to be decisive in the championship race.

He later explained that the game would not have given this.

Even his argument that he's coaching the youngest team in the league, true as it may be, is countered by the fact that Demichelis also manages by far the most expensive squad in the league, blessed with unparalleled potential in the league.

As spectacular as 110 self-scored goals may be, 47 goals conceded is just too many to make any claims.

There is no doubt that FC Bayern's offspring had a strong season.

But the question must be allowed: What would have been possible with a competent coach?

Because rarely has the record champion had such a rich and promising pool of talent as currently.

As of today, the new attempt next season should be tackled again with Demichelis.

Most recently, however, the 41-year-old was also linked to Arminia Bielefeld – a new head coach is being sought there.
