Jerome Boateng has a tip for FC Bayern.
The ex-FCB star recommends Tottenham's Harry Kane as Robert Lewandowski's successor.
Munich/Paris – Since last weekend at the latest, the football world has been asking the same question over and over again: Who will succeed Robert Lewandowski at Bayern?
The Pole does not want to extend his contract and would like to take off this summer.
The Bavarians reject an early sale of their goal machine and insist on staying until 2023.
A tricky situation, which Jerome Boateng also has an opinion on.
The 2014 world champion wore the FC Bayern Munich shirt for ten years before he left last summer, seven of them together with Robert Lewandowski.
His former team-mate's request for a change did not surprise him.
Boateng even has a Lewandowski successor in mind.
Lewandowski's successor at Bayern: Jerome Boateng recommends Harry Kane
“Personally, I would try to get Harry Kane at Bayern Munich immediately.
This is my opinion.
For me, this is a complete striker who scores his goals every day at Tottenham," said Jerome Boateng in a Sky interview at an event of
Life after Football
magazine in Paris.

The England national team captain in the service of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur plays "in a very good, but not world-class team.
If he plays in a team like FC Bayern, then I think he's a great replacement at a very good footballing age.
But that's up to Bayern Munich," said Boateng.
A transfer of 28-year-old Kane to Bayern seems extremely unlikely given a market value of 100 million euros.

Jerome Boateng: Lewandowski departure from FC Bayern "legitimate"
Boateng, on the other hand, was not particularly surprised by Lewandowski's request to change.
“You could see it a bit because of the development.
It's legitimate for a player like him to want to do something new at some point," said the 33-year-old Olympique Lyon centre-back, whose contract also expires in the summer of 2023.
In his view, FC Bayern and Lewandowski could come to an agreement “without there having to be a theatre.
It's difficult, but now that the summer break is over, there's enough time to find a good solution for both sides."
Will Lewandowski change this summer?
"FC Bayern is saying 'No' at the moment.
That's understandable, but they have plenty of time in the summer to make sure to get replacements.
This has happened to other players as well.
Thiago also wanted to go, so it was possible," Boateng recalls.
Thiago switched to Liverpool in September 2020 shortly before the start of the season for a fee of 22 million euros.
Jerome Boateng wants a solution for FC Bayern and Lewandowski
"It would be nice if a solution is found so that both sides are successful: Lewy and Bayern in the future.
That's the most important thing," said Boateng, whose departure from FC Bayern a year ago was not entirely without background noise.
Good advice that needs to be implemented immediately.
The Bavarians are unlikely to heed the tip to get Harry Kane as Lewandowski's successor.
Darwin Nunez, on the other hand, would almost be a "bargain" and the significantly cheaper alternative.
