A very serious indictment was filed today (Tuesday) against Bnei Sakhnin, following the big farce that caused the cancellation of last night's game against Maccabi Haifa at Shlomo Insurance Stadium.
"Such a thing has never happened in the history of professional football in the State of Israel," the association's prosecutor Nir Reshef wrote in the indictment.
"It is impossible to describe the enormous damage that was caused to those involved in the event, but mainly to the image of Israeli football and to the thousands of spectators who devoted their time and money."
Meanwhile, the club from the sector issued an official announcement, according to which they will enter a special press conference tomorrow, in which they will present their position regarding the embarrassing incident and even announced that they have submitted an official request for a rematch against Maccabi Haifa.
As you may recall, earlier the club was fined a quarter of a million shekels and now the association is sending an unequivocal message that it will not really end there.
