TSV Eching takes a big step towards staying up

The BOL girls from TSV Eching celebrated their first threesome in the second half of the season.
Remarkable: The clean sheet victory was achieved with a field player in goal.

- They had to wait a long time for their next victory in the district league - but now it worked: In the game at DJK Traunstein, TSV Eching and coach Jan Strehlow rewarded themselves for a tactical 1-0 (0-0) win refined performance.
The Zebras girls started this important match with a very defensive orientation.
With the regular field player and captain Julia Heckmair between the posts, TSV waited for mistakes by the opponent, especially in the first half, in order to become dangerous with their own counterattack.
The Echingen women created a good number of great chances throughout the game.
"We should have scored four or five goals," reports Strehlow, whose team controlled the match.
"It was a matter of time before we put the ball in the box." And so Naomi Koroma finally netted a well-deserved lead with a well-placed free kick from 32 meters under the bar in the middle of the second half (66th).
Several interruptions due to circulatory problems
In the entire 90 minutes, DJK Traunstein only came up dangerously twice in front of the Echingerinnen goal and was only able to manage with long balls towards the end.

The game had to be interrupted several times due to the opponent's circulation problems.
But in the end, the Echinger women had the staying power and deservedly got the first three in the second half of the season.

"Today we took a huge step towards staying up," said Coach Strehlow, whose team is now eight points ahead of the relegation zone.
On Sunday at 3 p.m., TSV Eching will welcome the next strong opponent with TSV Neuried.
Nevertheless, the zebras want to present themselves in a playful and combative manner and take three points with them if possible.
