Last night (Tuesday), Maccabi Haifa celebrated the 14th championship in its history at the Zappa Club, when all the club's employees, from the junior to the most senior, were present at the festive event.

Owner Yaakov Shachar praised the team and the players and sent a message towards the cup final: "Let's end the season as champions should finish, you gave beautiful expatriates all season, we need such in Jerusalem as well."

CEO Assaf Ben Dov, who will end his term, also spoke about the trophy and said: "You opened my term with a trophy when Itamar left.

"Now that I'm leaving, you will also open the way for Itzik (Ovadia, the incoming CEO. S.W.) with a trophy."
