A storm in the water.
World champion and Olympic finalist, swimmer Anastasia Gurbanko, was removed today (Wednesday) from the pool at the Wingate Institute after subscribers who came to swim did not allow her to continue training.
Gurbanko and other members of the team wanted to continue training at the request of the union's top adviser, the American Dave Marsh, who is in Israel during the week of preparations for the World Championships in Budapest next month.
At exactly ten o'clock, the swimmers were asked to get out of the water when subscribers entered their tracks.
It should be remembered that in the last week, the new Olympic pool is closed for renovations ahead of the Maccabiah Games that will take place in less than a month, and therefore there is a severe shortage of training hours in the facilities, as these are the only two Olympic pools that can be used for swimming.
Whoever flooded the issue, is Marsh himself who posted a story on his Instagram numbering tens of thousands of followers, in which he posted a picture of Gurbanko trying to swim, with subscribers interrupting her and wrote: "Some late additions to the training track of Anastasia Gurbanko and Eitan Ben Sheetrit."

The Wingate Institute said: "The team's training went beyond what was planned, and other swimmers were accidentally put in the pool's tracks. Following the incident, the pool staff was instructed not to do so. The matter was clarified in good spirits with the swimming association.
The Swimming Association's response: "We have received a promise from the Wingate Institute that this will not happen again, and we all hope that it will."
