Syria's tennis team is first in the overall standings in the West Asian Championship

Manama, SANA- The Syrian tennis team has won first place in the general standings with 2780 points in the World Tennis Championship

The Syrian tennis team ranked first in the general standings with 2780 points in the International Federation of West and Central Asia U14 Championship held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

Our team achieved the first three places in the singles cub category through Mary Abrash, Baneh Azi and Alia Maroud, respectively. In the doubles competition, Mary Abrash and Baneh Ezzi won first place, while Alia Marwad and Yara Kayal came in second.

In the Cubs category, Laith Al-Hassan, Osama Siraj and Nawar Zahreddine achieved fifth, sixth and seventh places, respectively.

Member of the Game Association and technical director of the federation Waseem Zainia explained in a statement to SANA that the competition was strong by the teams of Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, where the tournament took place in two stages, pointing out that our team’s first place in the general arrangement qualifies us to participate in the final tournament next year.
