The trainer (and ex-SPD member) who was flown in fresh from Mallorca was the one who got the first laugh at the “Löwen-Stammtisch” in the state parliament – ​​and as is the case with the eloquent Upper Palatinate: He also provided an extra-long question time.

Köllner spiced up his appearance as the guest of honor of the inviting FDP parliamentary group with anecdotes, a clear political edge ("I hope that Karl Lauterbach's craft is put to rest"), jokes and relentlessly honest confessions.

For example, that he lay in bed after games and thought: "I've failed abysmal." Because 1860 had once again disappointed his loyal audience.

The most important question, however, was only partially answered at the end of the moody evening: will he stay with 1860 now that the club has already given him five newcomers?
