VfB Forstinning II triumphed 7:1 over SV Heimstetten II. VfB striker Jonas Dirscherl turned the tide.

Forstinning – The question of relegation in the district league is getting worse and worse.

VfB Forstinning II defeated SV Heimstetten 7-1 in a catch-up game and thus promoted TSV Waldtrudering to the district league and TSV Grafing provisionally to a direct relegation rank.

In the relegation zone, two other district clubs join them: TSV Ebersberg and ATSV Kirchseeon.

From this quartet, one direct relegation team, two relegation participants and one lucky league survivor on the last two match days will now be determined.

The starting phase looked different for Forstinning

After the 24th day of play, VfB Forstinning II seemed far closer to the district class than the relegation bank that might still save them.

But with three wins from four games, the Forstinninger Reserve now climbed past Grafing.

"But that was only a small step," coach Michael Stiegler knows about the difficulty of the remaining tasks.

The high result against SV Heimstetten II is particularly misleading about the starting phase of the game.

Because it didn't look too rosy.

"We could have been 3-0 behind," Stiegler admitted frankly.

After taking the lead from a converted penalty by Jan Steffe (6th), the guests hit the bar and had another great chance.

Striker Jonas Dirscherl turns the tide alone

From the 25th minute, Forstinning got rolling.

Jonas Dirscherl in particular: The agile attacking striker turned the tide for VfB all by himself with a hat trick (25', 37', 45').

Steigler then wanted to follow up, aware of the decreasing resistance of an opponent without a table goal.

Julian Böhm succeeded with the 4:1 (50th), Stefan Zollner (66th) and Matthias Graaser (87th) added more goals.

Supported by Heimstetten's Michael Voggenreither with an own goal (75th).
