REPORT – The new Ligue 1 ball, designed by Kipsta, undergoes a whole battery of tests before being used in a match. In the Decathlon design center in Tourcoing, the slightest problem is anticipated.


About ten kilometers north of Lille, located in Tourcoing but just as close to Roubaix, there are a handful of hectares that breathe sport.

All the more so when a dazzling sun lights up the lawns of the pitches adjoining the Kipstadium, the design center of Kipsta, Decathlon's football brand.

It is in the heart of these premises, located in the Union eco-district, that the Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 balls were presented for the 2022-23 season.
