Boris Becker was transferred to Wandsworth Prison.

Mother Elvira apparently wants to make the trip to England after all.

London – Boris Becker has hit rock bottom.

The former Wimbledon winner has been in custody since the end of April.

The 54-year-old has to spend two and a half years behind bars for delaying bankruptcy.

Despite the great media echo - most recently he had to take a malicious comment from moderator Barbara Schöneberger - his closest confidants are at Boris Becker's side.

As the

reports, mother Elvira will travel to her son in England.

Elvira Pisch on son Boris Becker: "We always got along well"

"We always got along well," she is quoted as saying.

“No matter what happens – he is and will always be my son.” The picture

that Elvira Pisch was very worried.

"You never know what's going to happen at her age," said an insider close to her.

The 86-year-old fears that she will not be able to see her Boris again.

Due to her health condition, Elvira Pisch initially had doubts about taking on the great exertion of a trip to England.

Another reason that probably changed her mind: her filius doesn't exactly have it easy in Wandsworth prison in south London.

The tough everyday prison life has little to do with the privileges that the star Boris Becker was allowed to live out.

He is only entitled to 30 minutes of free time in the inner courtyard every day.

After 7 p.m. he is not allowed to leave his cell.

The ex-tennis star is only allowed to shower twice a week for a meager ten minutes.

Up to a hundred people can be accommodated in the communal showers.

also reported on "disgusting food" that Boris Becker found in Wandsworth.

The 54-year-old is said to have already complained to his fellow inmates about the conditions.

Whether Becker can leave prison in England early is completely open.

The

Sun

, citing a source, reports that Becker could be released early as early as November.

According to the report, the former tennis star expects to be back in Germany well before Christmas.

He is currently teaching foreign inmates English - even though he needed an interpreter for his own trial.

But there is also good news from south London.

Boris Becker has reportedly been transferred to Wandsworth Prison's Trinity Wing.

The move of son Boris to the new cell made a visit from mother Elvira Pisch much easier.

Prison conditions are repugnant to Boris Becker - fellow inmates apparently annoyed

"Prisoners wait months and even years to get into this part," reports journalist Chris Atkins, who was himself a Wandsworth inmate, of the

"Trinity has a slightly more relaxed supervision, here prisoners have more opportunities to leave their cells.

For example to work, continue your education, do sports and make social contacts.”
