Damascus-SANA
By defeating Al-Wahda with a score of 83-52 points, the Al-Thawra team qualified for the final match of the First Division Clubs League for Women, in the match that brought them together today at Al-Fayhaa Hall in Damascus in the “Final Four” semi-finals.
Al-Thawra qualified for the final match after winning for the second time against Al-Wahda, where it won the first match with a score of 85-78 points in their match last Monday in the same hall.
The competition system stipulates that the competing teams in the women's league meet in the semi-finals, back and forth, and the winner of the two matches qualifies for the final, and in the event of a tie, a play-off is played.
In the second match of the semi-finals of the competition, Qasioun beat Tishreen with a score of 72-66 points in the meeting that was held in Al-Fayhaa hall earlier today, to postpone the decision of the team that qualified for the final to a playoff match that will bring them together next week.
Tishreen had won the first round of the semi-final against Qasioun with a score of 68-49 points in the match that brought the two teams together in the basketball hall in Al-Assad Sports City in Lattakia.
