Tonight in San Francisco (Thursday) kicked off the NBA Finals Series in the East.
After the huge win in Game 7 of the semifinals over Phoenix, the Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic arrived at the Chase Center for an intriguing encounter against Stephen Kerry's Golden State.
At least tonight the Warriors were big on Jason Kidd's side and easily went up to 0-1 in the series with an 87: 112 win.

The Slovenian star of the Mavericks tonight with 20 points, but scored only 6 of the 18 shots he took, and could not really get by with the Warriors defense.
He was cut inside in the first quarter after Wiggins accidentally scratched it, and his three on the verge of halftime dropped Dallas to halftime 54:45 behind, but Stephen Kerry and Clay Thompson made sure the Warriors didn’t get tangled up in that game.

Steph opened the second half with two quick threes, and Clay scored all 15 of his points in the game in the second half.
The Warriors also got a lot of help tonight from Jordan Paul Andrew Wiggins, who scored 19 points each, but it was Kerry's game that with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds ensured that Golden State won and went up to 0: 1 in the series

The Mavericks do not have too much time to recover for the next game, which will take place on Saturday night.
A second loss and a 2-0 deficit in the series will put them in a very difficult situation ahead of the home games.

A career playoff-worst.
