The NBA Western Finals series opened tonight with one side: after doing the unbelievable and ousting Phoenix in seven games, Dallas did not show up for the game against Golden State, which exploded from the opening and went up 0-1 over the Mavericks with 87: 112 at the Oracle Arena.
Luka Doncic scored 18 points in the first half, but added just 2 points in the second half and has already retained strength for the second game apparently.
The first quarter ended at 18:28 for the Warriors, who enjoyed an excellent game from Andrew Wiggins, who scored 10 quick points.
Reggie Bullock's three-pointer narrowed the Mavericks' lead to just 35:33 in the middle of the second quarter, but then Dallas got stuck and two straight threes by Jordan Paul and Andrew Wiggins set up a 37:49 lead.
The breaking moment came at the start of the third quarter, when in a 47:54 situation for Golden State, it made a 0:10 run and opened up a 17-point lead, from which Dallas was not even close to coming back and Doncic sat on the bench in the final quarter.

Steph Kerry led the winners with 21 points and surprised with 12 rebounds.
Andrew Wiggins was passionate in the first quarter and finished the game with 19 points and Clay Thompson settled for 15, with Green adding 10, 9 rebounds and 3 assists.
On the other hand, Luka Doncic got into a weak game with 20 points in bad percentages (6 of 18), only 4 assists compared to 7 losses and the lowest plus minus in his team (30-).
Spencer Dinwidi, who excelled in Game 7 against Phoenix, contributed 17 from the bench, but that was far from enough.

Dallas, which also lost its first games in Phoenix, will try to return to the series and steal an away win in Auckland, but the bad news for it is that Steve Kerr's teams hold a 1:19 record in the series in which they win first.
Are Doncic and his team planning a comeback as they did in the semifinals?
The series is just beginning, and with Doncic everything is possible.
