The management of the Football Association this morning (Thursday) unanimously approved the appointment of Guy Luzon as the coach of the young team, all this week after the recommendation of the search committee in the composition of chairman Oren Hasson, Eli Ohana and Eli Cohen.
"I see a great privilege to return and lead the young Israeli team and full of confidence in my ability to achieve the short-term and long-term goals presented to me," Levy said last week. "I have confidence in the technical director, Yila Hus, with whom I have had a number of meetings, and the search committee is not self-evident and for that I thank them."
It will be recalled that this is Luzon's second term in the young team after he was appointed to the position in 2010 and under his guidance the team competed in the European Football Championship until the age of 21 in 2013,
