Patrick Proisy: “Roland-Garros is a holy grail for all players”

ENCOUNTER - The finalist of the 1972 edition leafs through his album of memories, and talks about the news and the future of the tournament.


On Sunday June 4, 1972, sports news is concentrated in a small area with, on the bill, the final of the Coupe de France between Marseille and Bastia in the new Parc des Princes, freshly emerged from the ground, and a few hundred meters, the Roland-Garros final.

In order not to step on each other's toes, the organizers have agreed.

Football at 3 p.m., tennis at 5 p.m.
