District league compact: Raisting attracts with a special action, Penzberg wants to win again

Once again the players of SV Raisting and FC Penzberg are challenged in the district league.

The FCP has - at least indirectly - something to do with the relegation battle.

Raisting – The SV Raisting kickers have to lace up their football boots once more, then it's off to the summer break.

At the end of the season, the district league soccer club is expecting SV Neuperlach Munich in the Raiffeisen Arena this Saturday (2 p.m.).

“One of the teams in the league that is currently in the best form,” says SVR player coach Hannes Franz about the fifth-placed team, who changed coaches after a weak first half of the season and thus managed to turn the tide in a positive direction in the new year.

"They play extremely well and have good technicians, they will play at the top in the coming season," Franz is convinced.

Although it is no longer about anything for the Raistinger, as well as for the guests, the coach expects a decent performance from his men.

"We want to finish off by offering our fans attractive football and reach the 50-point mark with a three-pointer at home."

Free entry for women and children

In terms of personnel, the Raistinger are again focusing on the second set, which is in the relegation battle.

This means that at SVR all players who can still be used in the reserve will only appear in the second half.

David Gretschmann, who has problems with his intervertebral disc, will definitely be absent.

With Markus Riedl and David Hendel, who are injured, the use is questionable.

For the home game, the SVR has come up with something for the spectators.

All women and children have free entry and they get a free drink.

Penzberg:

FC Penzberg got involved in the fight for promotion after beating leaders Oberweikertshofen two weeks ago.

At the end of the season, the district football league team can also intervene in the relegation battle.

Coach Martin Wagner's men are guests this Saturday (2 p.m.) at SC Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering, who in ninth place is only two points ahead of a relegation place.

"Everything is at stake for the SCU, so they will get down to business accordingly," says Wagner, whose team wants to resist.

"We are all athletes and want to win, even if it's about nothing."

FC Penzberg expects committed opponents

Penzberg had won the first leg against Unterpfaffenhofen 2-1 and can play sixth without pressure.

"We trained easily and had fun, they're a great bunch," says Wagner, looking forward to his last assignment on the sidelines of the district league, which already presented his successor in ex-professional Simon Ollert during the week.

There will be few changes in the squad.

Max Berwein and a few injured players will be missing in Unterpfaffenhofen.

Sandu Poplecean and Patriot Lajqi, who will leave FCP after the season, will be given a starting XI as a farewell.
