Kaiserslautern’s new coach Dirk Schuster is about to make his debut on the FCK bench in the relegation first leg against Dresden today.
The Chemnitz player was only signed as the successor to Marco Antwerpen after the last third division game.
With Darmstadt, Schuster managed to get promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga via relegation in 2014 and even to the upper house a year later.

The game has long been sold out with 46,895 spectators.
Capacity is limited due to a buffer zone on the east stand between the two groups of fans.
The police have been alerted and are on the move with a large contingent: in 2013 there were serious riots when the two football clubs met.
"The relationship between the two fan camps is tense," the West Palatinate police headquarters in charge told SID.
"Conflicts cannot be ruled out, criminal offenses will not be tolerated." The city administration set up a "glass-free zone" and issued an alcohol ban.
Around 5,000 fans are expected from Dresden, the second leg is on Tuesday (all dates, teams, rules for relegation at a glance).

Kaiserslautern under Marco Antwerpen messed up direct promotion with three defeats at the end of the season and the traditional club quickly changed coaches.
Dirk Schuster came enthusiastically after a one-year break since leaving FC Erzgebirge Aue.
In 2014 he achieved the feat with Darmstadt 98, after a 1:3 in the relegation first leg against Arminia Bielefeld, with a 4:2 in the second leg in the second division.
A year later, the Chemnitz native even marched through to the upper house with the Lilien (an overview of all promoted and relegated teams in the 2nd Bundesliga).

In contrast to Antwerp, Schuster's Dresden colleague Guerino Capretti was able to save his job in the relegation: the German-Italian has not won any of his ten games since he started at Dynamo in early March.
In Dresden, his commitment as the successor to Alexander Schmidt was viewed with suspicion, as the 40-year-old had previously only managed lower-league clubs.
Worse for the Saxons: Dynamo has not won a single competitive game in 2022.
In the relegation duel for the Bundesliga between Hertha BSC and Hamburger SV, the away team was able to celebrate.
