Orly David, the mother of Maccabi Haifa striker Dean David, has passed away, the club announced this morning (Saturday).
"Maccabi Haifa Football Club bows its head upon learning of the death of Orly, the mother of Dean David, the team player. We share the family's grief and who will give and did not know any more grief," the Greens' official statement read.
Following the family tragedy, David is expected to miss the cup final that will be held this coming Tuesday in Teddy, between the champion and Hapoel B'Shlosha.
