Kylian Mbappé: Probably in Paris until 2025

The tug-of-war over French soccer world champion Kylian Mbappé has apparently come to an end: According to consistent media reports, the 23-year-old is about to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, which expires in the summer.
The French sports newspaper "L'Equipe" first reported on it.
The New York Times also reports that the attacker canceled Real.
Accordingly, Mbappé's signature is still pending, but in principle a new contract has been agreed until 2025.
The official announcement should take place on Sunday after the last game of the season against FC Metz.
Mbappé has already informed Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez of his decision, as reported by the RMC Sport television channel.
Until recently, the Madrilenians were considered favorites to sign the striker, who had made it clear in the summer of 2021 that he wanted to switch to Reals.
PSG is said to have turned down an offer of 180 million euros.
Most recently, Mbappé's mother and advisor Fayza Lamari told the "Kora Plus" portal that both Real and PSG agreed that the clubs' contract offers were "almost identical".
Mbappé initially moved to Paris on loan from AS Monaco in 2017, and a year later the Qatar-financed club signed the striker for 145 million euros.
With PSG, Mbappé won the French league for the fourth time this season, but the long-awaited victory in the Champions League has not materialized so far.
In 216 competitive games for the club, the striker scored 168 goals and provided 87 assists.
Mbappé won the World Cup in Russia in 2018 with the French national team.
