The Rossoneri dethroned Inter Milan, holders of the title, who had to settle for second place after their victory against Sampdoria Genoa (3-0).
Olivier Giroud, with a double (17th, 32nd) and Franck Kessié (36th), on three assists from the untenable Rafael Leao, secured the title for Milan, which only needed one point to be crowned.
