Kirl went up to perform at the stadium, obviously wearing a green suit, but failed to excite the crowd, and even received contemptuous whistles from some of the fans, even as she sang the championship song.
As the show progressed the crowd left the field, and finally Kiral appeared in front of almost empty stands.
Noa Kirl is one of the most successful singers in Israel, but football fans, especially in a championship game, expect a different kind of joy, sporting, with the players and the team, and not a pop show.
Among Haifa fans, the complaints were about a performance detached from the event, about being disconnected from the audience and its feelings, and many blamed the league director for a bad production that led to great embarrassment.

After the criticism on social media, today the league director denied responsibility, clarified that this is an initiative of Maccabi Haifa, and that it is responsible for it.
The principal said: "Clarification: In the events of the championship celebrations, the director of the football leagues is responsible for conducting the ceremony until the moment the championship plate is hoisted. After the hoisting, authority over the artistic program or any other event is in the hands of the winning team only."
