Again, there was an ugly scene when there was a pitch storm after the final whistle.
This time the Etihad Stadium was the scene of the action.
A few seconds earlier, Manchester City had won the Premier League title.

After the 3-2 win over Aston Villa and the associated Man City championship, coach Pep Guardiola's team apologized to the opposing team for the behavior of their fans.
When the pitch stormed after the final whistle, supporters of Citizens Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen are said to have physically attacked.

"Manchester City would like to sincerely apologize to Robin Olsen," the official statement said.
"The club has launched an immediate investigation and will ban those responsible indefinitely from the stadium as soon as they are identified."
Aston Villa initially did not comment on the incident.
Coached by Liverpool icon Steve Gerrard, the team led 2-0 at Man City before City turned the game around to secure their fourth league title in five years.
