Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel BS will meet tomorrow (Tuesday) for the state football cup final at Teddy Stadium. Just before the battle for the last title of the season, tonight both teams showed up for the festive press conference ahead of the game.
The coaches and players of the teams, Aliniv Barda, Barak Bachar, Sean Goldberg and Miguel Vitor, who showed up, looked smiling and friendly, and exchanged hugs before the trip.
Coach Aliniv Barda opened by saying, "I feel good, I believe I will start getting excited for the game tomorrow."
When asked if he could surprise Barak Bachar, he said: "I was privileged to work with Barak and achieve with him, I learned a lot from him, and it will be difficult for me to surprise him. There is no bad blood between us, football is a game of emotions."
Barda also referred to the opponent: "Maccabi Haifa is a strong team that is making an amazing season, but it is one game and anything can happen."
The coach was asked about his future as the team coach more than once, but declined to comment.
Team stopper Miguel Vitor was the second to carry things: "We are ready for tomorrow and feel good. We are looking forward to a tough game and hope we win the title."
The player was asked about past events and red cards in games between teams: "Football is an emotional game and things like that are read in the heat of the moment."
Maccabi Haifa coach Barak Bachar opened his remarks by referring to the championship celebrations and the sharp transition the team needs to make: "We made the switch against Maccabi Netanya and gave a football performance. The goal is to come with the same approach tomorrow as well."
Bachar was asked about the goalkeepers' issue and said: "I still do not have an answer. Only tomorrow will I know who I will play."

Bachar went on to say about the possibility of winning the quadruple: "We know that tomorrow's victory will bring a tremendous achievement, but we have a difficult opponent in front of us."
The Greens coach was asked about the aggressiveness in previous games: "You can not argue with facts. Our goal is to deal only with football - not provocations. This is a respectable status and we want to avoid such things."
"The opposing team will not come hungry anymore than him, we come very hungry."
Bachar was asked about Dean David who will be absent following the death of his mother: "We have enough depth in the staff and he will be fine."
Sean Goldberg from Haifa, who won several trophies, was asked about the secret of success in the decisive moments and replied with a joke: "If I tell you, you know what I will have to do next. We really want this title."
"I think both professionally and our social fabric is special, we did not just take a championship. In one game everything can be and there is a tough opponent. As Barak said there were things this season that should not happen in games between teams, we will come to play our football."
