What drama in the Premier League!

Manchester City wins the championship on the last day of the game - in a dramatic way.

Munich - Manchester City are English champions!

Ex-FCB coach Pep Guardiola's team won 3-2 (0-1) against Aston Villa on Matchday 38 in the Premier League after being 2-0 down by the 75th minute.

Substitute Ilkay Gündogan scored twice (76th, 81st).

Jürgen Klopp's team also won their game against Wolverhampton Wanderer in a dramatic manner 3-1 (1-1).

Liverpool were behind early on due to Pedro Neto's goal (3rd).

Sadio Mané (24th) brought the Reds back into the game after a strong assist from former Bundesliga professional Thiago.

When Matthew Cash put Aston Villa ahead in Manchester in the 37th minute, Liverpool were only separated from the top of the table on goal difference.

In the second half, Klopp had to do without Thiago, who had been replaced injured.

However, Aston Villa continued to help for the time being: Philippe Coutinho (69th), like Thiago once a Bayern professional and also formerly employed in Liverpool, increased the score in Manchester to make it 2-0 for the guests.

Villa coach and Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard was happy on the sidelines.
