Lewandowski advisor Zahavi with serious allegations: "Bayern has lost Robert the man"

Lewandowski advisor Pini Zahavi makes explosive revelations about talks with the FCB bosses.

FC Bayern apparently did not want to extend the contract.

Munich – It was almost to be feared: The contract poker around Robert Lewandowski will be played out in public.

FC Bayern and Lewandowski's advisor Pini Zahavi make contradictory statements in the media and blame each other.

Despite the current contract, Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern by 2023, preferably this summer.

The Pole claimed not to have received a new contract offer, the FCB bosses around Hasan Salihamidzic are convinced of the opposite.

Zahavi confirmed that he had not received an offer.

The 78-year-old player's agent now reveals how the talks actually happened from his point of view.

According to Zahavi, it's not about money, it's about respect.

However, Bayern Lewandowski would not have shown that in recent months, the Israeli explains to

"FC Bayern did not lose the player Lewandowski, but the person Robert." In line with this, Zahavi tells an anecdote that happened last year target.

“I came to Munich for a meeting with Oliver Kahn, Hasan Salihamidzic and Marco Neppe.

I said to them, 'What do you think about extending Robert's contract?'

The answer: silence.

No yes, no no, no maybe, just nothing,” Zahavi explained.

"So then, toward the end of the meeting, I said, 'If that's the case, why don't you sell it next summer.'"

As is well known, FC Bayern Munich strictly rejects the sale of Lewandowski.

According to Zahavi, however, the FCB bosses would have been willing to do so under certain circumstances.

"We don't really want to sell him, but if you bring us an offer of 120 million euros, then we can talk," said Brazzo & Co. according to Zahavi.

"So roughly the amount that a Haaland commitment would have cost in the summer, including all fees," said Zahavi.

Robert Lewandowski does not want to extend his contract with FC Bayern.

Advertising for Haaland could therefore blow up in Bayern’s ears in the Lewandowski case.

From Zahavi's point of view, the last word in this matter has not yet been spoken.

“In any case, I hope that those responsible and also the Supervisory Board will think about it again.

Of course they can keep Robert for another year, to be fair he has a contract until 2023, but I wouldn't recommend that.
