Salah Ramadan was elected president of the Syrian Football Association in the elections that took place today at the headquarters of the Football Association in Al-Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus.
Ramadan won the position of president of the Federation of the First Popular Game, by obtaining 38 votes, compared to 29 votes for his other competitor, Fadi Debbas, out of 68 votes of those eligible to vote.
Ramadan had previously won the position of President of the Federation in the elections of the 2010-2014 cycle, and Abdul Rahman Al-Khatib won the position of Vice-President of the Federation by obtaining 39 votes, compared to 28 votes for the second candidate for this position, Zakaria Canal.
The union's nine members will be elected later today.
