In the promotion games to the district league, two teams meet who know where the goal is.

The BC Attaching is challenged against Gaimersheim.

Attaching

– “Caution, danger of scoring!” That's the motto on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the sports facility in Attaching.

Then the BCA and TSV Gaimersheim, two district league teams that are known for not being stingy with goals, meet in the first game of the promotion relegation.

These are the goal-getters of the two opponents

For the hosts, Didier Nguelefack (16 goals/11 assists) and Domenic Hörmann (15 goals/2 assists) are mainly responsible for the 63 goals in the 2021/22 season.

The guests even scored 65 goals, most of them contributed by Florian Ihring (19 goals/3 assists) and Nicolae Nechita (11 goals/8 assists).

"You have to be particularly careful with three or four people at Gaimersheim," warns BCA trainer Enes Mehmedovic.

"This is a very good district league team that has been playing for promotion for years."

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

In the past five seasons, TSV has finished second three times in district league 1.

In the 2017/18 season, Gaimersheim failed in the relegation at BSG Taufkirchen, and last year there were no relegation games because of Corona.

That's why it should finally work for the team of TSV trainer Manni Kroll in the third attempt with the district league promotion.

Mehmedovic team in top form for the season finale

The biggest difference between the two opponents on Wednesday and Saturday is the number of goals conceded.

Attaching have had 19 goals this season, while Gaimersheim have conceded 35 goals.

In addition, the Mehmedovic team was in top form for the season finale: none of the last eight games in the league was lost - there were seven wins and a score of 24:1 goals.

"We have no reason to do any special tactical things when we play like we did in the second half of the season," said Mehmedovic.

"I hope the lads can handle the pressure because a relegation game like this is something new for many.

But we have a very good team that had a great season and scored a lot of goals.

But our defense is also really strong – Gaimersheim has to put in a particularly good performance.
