Can Miami handle Boston's defense? | Israel today

The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat tonight (Tuesday) in game number 4 in the Eastern Conference Finals in the best league in the world, and tied the series at 2: 2.

The Greens won mostly thanks to the tremendous defensive performance they put on tonight against Miami.

Boston stopped the opponent on only 82 points, the hit scoring in the first quarter only 11 points, and in fact, the result lies that in the last quarter the visitors scored 30 points against a second five and when the game is already over.

How good was Boston's defense?

None of the five players who started in Miami scored in double digits, the Heat scored 30/90 from the field - only 33%, despite not bad percentages outside the arc (14/36).

Boston is known as an excellent defensive team, with players known for their great defensive play like: Robert Williams, Jaylen Brown, Jason Taitum, and especially Marcus Smart - who was selected to play this season's defensive but did not play tonight due to injury.

Rudy is dominating Utah's French center, and who is also known for his formidable defensive play praised Boston on Twitter and wrote: "This Boston defense is very tough."

NBA Reporter Keith Smith also tweeted: "A great defensive game for the Celtics without the defensive player of the season, led by Horford."

Al Horford just played maybe the best 5-point game I've seen since Dennis Rodman.

13 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 blocks.

And that does not even start to tell the story of how good he was defensively.

Hull Horford may not have excelled on offense tonight and finished with 5 points, but was big on the other side of the field with 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

Derrick White, who took Smart's place in the top five, was also excellent on defense with 3 steals.
