In the columns of Nice Matin, director Fabien Onteniente explained that he received a Facetime call from Benzema's former agent and close friend, Karim Djaziri during the Cannes Film Festival:
"And there, I see Benzema's head on FaceTime .

A golden cast
Karim Benzema will not be the only football personality present in the second opus of the film which will be called “4 Zeros”.
Raï, the Brazilian legend of Paris Saint-Germain, will play a tailor-made role, that of the president of the capital club.
Rapper Nekfeu as well as DJ Snake have been confirmed to direct the film's soundtrack.
Filming has not yet started and the feature film is still being written.
