From Mont-Saint-Michel (Manche), Nathan Paulin has reigned over the world in his discipline, the slackline in the void.

The 28-year-old athlete broke his own world record for the longest crossing on a wire by walking for 2,200 meters at an altitude of almost 100 meters between the Couesnon dam and the summit of Mont-Saint-Michel, in 95 meters high.

The Haut-Savoyard has achieved a real feat.

On Tuesday, he fell for the first time when launching, before beating his record a few meters from the summit of Mont-Saint-Michel during his second attempt.

This performance allows him to break his own world record.

He had made a crossing of 1,662 meters in the circus of Navacelles (Hérault), in June 2017. The Parisian had followed him during this feat more than 300 meters above the ground.

Nathan Paulin is a regular at these exploits.

In 2017, he had traveled on a wire the 670 meters which separate the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero at 70 meters high.

He also made a crossing at more than 300 meters high between two skyscrapers in Moscow in 2019.
