An unusual verbal confrontation was recorded last weekend between windsurfers Katie Spichkov and Noy Darihan during the European Championships held on Lake Garda in northern Italy.

The two surfers who carry large sediments did not compete in the championship under the Israeli team, but as independent surfers but still carried the Israeli flag on them.

The acute verbal incident between the two was not in the water during a flotilla, but while they were on land.

Spichkov's entourage claims that Darihan was the one who started it.

The basis for the incident between the two is the same affair between Spichkov and the team's coach Pierre Loket that led to a big explosion between the surfer and the rest of her teammates.

Drihan was also the one who felt most hurt by Spichkov because she claimed that at the World Championships in Australia before the Olympics, Spichkov blocked her with the surfboard and prevented her from competing for Israel's representation at the Olympics.

As you may recall, it was Spichkov who represented Israel in Tokyo last summer and, regardless of events in the team, failed to justify her expectations for a medal and finished sixth.
