Tishreen team defeated the Lebanese Nejmeh by three goals to one in the third and final round of the first round of the AFC Cup.
In the match that took place today at Muharraq Stadium in the Bahraini capital, Manama, Tishreen defeated Al-Najma Lebanese by three goals to one, as Tishreen Ali Bashmani scored in the 26th minute, Nadim Sabbagh in the 42nd minute, and Muhammad Kamel Kawaya in the 45th minute.
Tishreen team opened its participation in the tournament with a draw with the Palestinian Al Hilal negatively and lost in its second match against Al Seeb Omani with two goals without a response to gain 4 points, waiting for the result of the Palestinian Al Hilal and Al Riffa, which will be held later today to know the final group ranking.
At the end of the group stage, the first-placed player qualifies directly to the semi-finals, in addition to the best second place. The semi-finals and finals of the West Asian region will be held from one round in a knockout system, with the West Asian champions qualifying for the final match of the AFC Cup.
