The sports world is also shocked by this horrible act!

Steve Kerr, coach of the Golden State Warriors, reacted to the terrible school massacre in the USA with an emotional speech.

"I don't want to talk about basketball today.

14 children were shot today,” Kerr began the PK before the playoff game with the Dallas Mavericks, visibly touched and in a shaky voice.

He then named other terrible incidents in Buffalo and Southern California.

"Now children have been murdered at school," Kerr yelled, banging on the table. "When are we going to do something?

I'm fed up, I've had enough!” The Warriors coach clearly had to keep his emotions in check, his voice and lip trembled.

Kerr, a champion with the Chicago Bulls as a player alongside Michael Jordan, therefore did not want to talk about basketball.

Visibly moved and shaking, the 56-year-old said: "I'm tired of it.

I'm so tired of getting up here and offering my condolences to the devastated families out there.” Kerr's voice faltered, and he slammed his hand on the table several times.

The Twitter video went around the world, just a few hours later more than 500,000 people from all over the world had marked it with a heart.

Kerr called for stricter gun control in the United States and addressed 50 senators who have so far prevented it.

The eight-time NBA champion has long spoken out against gun violence.

His father was shot dead in a terrorist attack in Beirut, Lebanon in 1984.

"I'm going to play that game tonight," Kerr continued, "but every human being should hear this now.

Everyone should think about how they would feel if their child, their father, was affected.

We can't sit here and go back to normal.

A minute's silence and then 'Go Dubs', 'Go Mavs'?

50 senators are holding us hostage because they're preventing the background check that 90 percent of the people want."
