Stephen Kerry celebrates Golden State's victory in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals (from the official NBA Twitter account)
Dallas managed this morning (Wednesday) to save some of its dignity and extend its days in the playoffs, beating Golden State 109: 119 and shrinking the Western Conference Finals to 3-1.
The Mavericks came into the game knowing that no team in NBA history was able to come back from a 3-0 deficit in the playoff series and wanted to avoid a sweep, and thanks to an excellent scoring evening managed to open a gap of 29 points in the third quarter.
Golden State managed to make a comeback in the final quarter, which startled the host, but in the end Dallas managed to scrape the win by the teeth, forcing a fifth game.
This time, too, Luca Doncic starred and stood out in Dallas, but tonight he also received significant help from his teammates, who sniped across the arc.
In the final quarter Golden State came back to itself, and with an amazing run (of the substitutes!) Managed to narrow the gap to only 8, 110: 102 with 3:29 minutes left, but the Mavericks managed to calm the stressed crowd, and seal the story with a Donch basket Yitch and his assist to a three by Reggie Bullock that brought the gap back to 15.

Luka Doncic did not enjoy a particularly successful shooting west, but still finished with 30 points (10 of 26 from the field), 14 rebounds and 9 assists.
Those who were there and shot important baskets were Reggie Bullock (18 points on 6 of 10 from the three) and Dorian Pini Smith (23 points on 9 from 13 from the field and 4 from 7 from the three).
Overall Dallas finishes the evening with 20 threes at 46.5 percent success and a total of 50 percent from the field.
Maxi Culver, who so far in the series stood at 6 points in total, scored 13. Tonight , on the
other hand, Stephen Kerry finished with 20 points and 8 assists, but with a plus / minus balance of 23, the lowest on the team.
Precisely in the last quarter, in what looked like Garbage Time, Steve Kerr put the five-man players on the bench and gave the substitutes a chance, who began to get stops on defense and gnaw at the gap slowly and steadily.
Jonathan Cuminga finished with 17 points and was part of Golden State’s excellent final quarter, illustrating its power and how much you can never be calm in front of it.
But what decided the game was a huge third quarter for Dallas, who opened it with 8 of 10 of the three, and eventually won it 23:37 to advance to the final quarter with the big gap (70:99), which was probably too big, even for a champion The west on the way.
Kelly Thompson finished with 12 points, Andrew Wiggins 13, Jordan Paul 14. Game number 5 will be played in two days in San Francisco.
