An end to a career?
Milan announced tonight (Wednesday) that Zlatan Ibrahimovic had surgery on his knee during the day and is expected to be absent from the pitches for 7-8 months.
It is further reported that the 40-year-old Swedish striker, who only last Sunday came in as a replacement for the coronation game of the new champion, has successfully undergone the pre-planned surgery on his left knee, and will now begin rehabilitation over the next few months.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be available at least for the next 7-8 months after undergoing knee surgery, AC Milan announce.

It should be noted that the striker's contract is due to expire at the end of June when at the same time Zlatan, who has already agreed his personal terms in Milan and is expected to earn 2.5 million euros, wants to play another year although now the long absence may change all initial plans.
