The SB Chiemgau Traunstein lives up to its role as a favorite in the state league relegation.

The SpVgg 1906 Haidhausen is disappointed.

The voices of the game.

Munich - It was a used afternoon for the SpVgg 1906 Haidhausen.

The runners-up in the southern district league completely messed up the initial phase of the relegation first leg against SB Chiemgau Traunstein.

After 13 minutes it was 3:0 from the guests' point of view.

Player-coach Sebastian Bracher was served accordingly.

The Chiemgauers, on the other hand, go home with a clear advantage.

We collected the votes for the game on Munich's St.-Martin-Straße.

Sebastian Bracher (player coach SpVgg 1906 Haidhausen) about...

… the game:

"It's painful because I don't think the result reflects how the 90 minutes went.

We slept through the first 15 minutes and conceded three very stupid goals.

You just have to say that a national league team uses that mercilessly and effectively.

We then worked our way up into the game a bit and showed our true colors in the second half.

If we had been more consistent, we could have made it 3-2.

They just have quality, that's the big difference between the district league and the state league."

… his half-time speech:

“In principle, the first half wasn’t that bad.

It's always difficult to come back when you're 3-0 down after fifteen minutes.

We said to ourselves: 'Now we have nothing left to lose.'

We're trying to be more energetic now, to be more active.

But then the punch was missing again.”

... the second leg:

"I'm always realistic - especially when you have to score four away goals.

It's very clear that we're going into the game as underdogs.

We're not going to Traunstein for a coffee ride.

It will be difficult, but nothing is impossible.

Whatever the outcome, we will leave the pitch with our heads held high.”

… the away goal rule:

“It was abolished in European football, we still have it for whatever reason.

That's why I made my team more defensive.

I find them rather bad.”

Danijel Majdancevic (player coach SB Chiemgau Traunstein) on...

… his speech before the game:

“I made it clear to the boys what the club and its youth work is about (the BFV has again confirmed the youth department of SB Chiemgau Traunstein as one of 18 BFV youth academies, i. Red.).

That's why we just have to stay in the Landesliga.

We all owe that at the club.

We showed from the start that we really want that.”

… the second half:

“Our problem is that we start swimming when we lose our consistency and aggressiveness.

We want to stop that.

We made it 3-0 and might even have scored the fourth or fifth.

Then you saw that the air was actually out.

And that's dangerous.

But we did it again and are therefore satisfied.”

… the second leg:

“It starts again from zero.

Accordingly, we definitely want to win in front of our home crowd.

That counts for us.”

… about the away goals rule:

“I don’t think it’s good and I think it should be abolished.

But it is the way it is."
