"I told Bar Natan, 'Get ready to finish. I'll stop that, too.'"

For the three penalties he stopped ("Players will be afraid to kick in front of me"), for the ex ("I made the right decision to leave Maccabi Haifa") and for the kiss with Itai Schechter ("He knocked me down. You can't refuse Schechter").

Omri Glazer has taken over the goalkeeper position in Be'er Sheva and is now waiting to win this one in the national team as well

Summary: Hapoel Beer Sheva - Maccabi Haifa 2: 2 (1: 3 on penalties) (Sport 1)

Omri Glazer arrived from Sagiv Yehezkel's house for the celebrations of winning the State Cup last night (Wednesday).

There were also Rotem Hatuel, Tomer Yosefi, Or Dadia and Aviv Solomon.

They did on the fire and recreated the final events.

Glazer said he is in such high adrenaline that he is unable to sleep.

"I was only able to fall asleep at eight-thirty in the morning for such a short time. I really forced myself to fall asleep. I'm crazy. I can't even explain what's going on in my body. It's an inexplicable feeling."

Because of the win or because of the three penalties you stopped?

"The penalties make the win bigger on a personal level. I'm also looking forward to the celebrations. It's the craziest hi I've had on my body. Next month I'll get married, so I can make a comparison to something else outside of football."

He grew up in north Tel Aviv, in the Ramat Hachayal neighborhood.

Played with children at Maccabi Tel Aviv North Branch.

Was a classmate of Jonathan Cohen, Dan Glazer, Matan Hozaz, Mavis Chibuta, Max Grechkin and goalkeeper Sahar Hasson who received a little more credit from him at a later stage.

At the age of 17, he decided that it was enough for him and that at Maccabi Tel Aviv it would probably be difficult for him to be the first goalkeeper, so he moved to Hapoel Raanana and after a few years was acquired by Maccabi Haifa.

It was not easy in those years in stressful Haifa.

The team was not good and he as a young goalkeeper was badly burned by impatience.

He was loaned to the Ness Ziona section and relegated with it.

Last season he returned to Maccabi Haifa and served as a second goalkeeper.

At the end of the season, he decided to go down south to Hapoel Beer Sheva.

"When I came to Hapoel Beer Sheva, Ohad Levita had just left and it was just me and Raz Rahamim. It was clear to me that the club would bring another senior goalkeeper and that I would not be alone. I guess and I took the opportunity. "

Brought happiness to an entire city.

What is it like to walk in the feeling that you have brought such happiness to an entire city?

"Beyond it being crazy happiness, I really think the credit is to everyone. From the management through the professional team and the crowd. Ramzi Spori came up to play with a 38 and a half fever and sacrificed himself. The goal he scored was an amazing thing after a whole day he suffered. True in the end the penalties prevailed "120 minutes everyone gave theirs. In the end it's like I brought the trophy but the credit is really to everyone. It's a trophy of the whole city."

Were Maccabi Haifa's penalties bad or did you jump excellent?

"Both. It's true that there is a cliché that the penalties depend on the kicker, but the goalkeepers also have a part. There are penalties that even if you jump into the right corner and push with all your might, you will not get there.

Have you always been a good penalty shooter?

"One penalty during a game is luck. A duel is to go a certain way and believe in it. There is a lot of psychological warfare here. How do you take your opponents out of concentration."

Goalkeepers also have a part in penalties.

This season a penalty shootout?

"Ariel stood on penalties during the season against Sakhnin and Maccabi Haifa and he stopped them. In a duel that was in the Toto Cup final against Maccabi Haifa, I stood and stopped Noble Omar. In the end we lost on penalties because we missed two."

And in a career at all?

"In my career, I stopped a penalty by Maor Buzaglo at Turner when I played for Hapoel Raanana and a zero draw ended. I also stopped Itai Schechter who was at Betar and I was at Maccabi Haifa.

I have not bad percentages on penalties, but not crazy.

"Now maybe that will change and players will be afraid to kick penalties for me."

It does the job both on penalties and in general. They will lose confidence in front of you now. You are 26 now.

"There are a lot of goalkeepers in the world who stand out at a young age. I started with Maccabi Haifa excellently. I was selected for the season and came to the team. We were just less good then. Probably compared to the current Maccabi Haifa. Maybe I was not mature enough and could not contain it. Maybe it was easier to fall. Ali because I was young but I believe that if you continue to work hard, you will get to the place you deserve. I went through quite a few difficulties at Maccabi Haifa and was relegated with Ness Ziona in a season that greatly challenged me. I did not leave Maccabi Haifa painfully. It was right for both sides to say goodbye. "I was in a good spirit. I ran out of contract and chose not to continue there. I'm glad I made the right decision."

Excellent relationship between the goalkeepers.

The big story is that Ariel Hemlock was planned to be the goalkeeper in the state cup and he really stood until the quarterfinals.

Then Aliniv Barda decided to go with you in the semi-final against Maccabi Tel Aviv, admitting that it was the hardest decision he made in his short career.

"Sometimes there are scenarios that we do not control. I would not want to be a coach and that decision of Aliniv was really difficult. Aliniv decided to go with me in the semi-finals even though Ariel really stood in the rounds before and did well. If he decided to go with Ariel I would support it. I "Glad that in the end he decided to go with me in the semifinals and final. I could not have written a more rosy script than that."

How has your relationship been throughout the season?

"A great relationship. We push each other in training. Everyone wants to prove themselves. Ariel is very proud of me and I hold him as an amazing person. I learn a lot from him."

Already in the first season he showed up for many press conferences.

Glazer (Photo: Udi Citation)

I can tell you personally that even before the ability on the field, I was impressed by the fact that you are the player who has appeared the most this season at press conferences.

How is it that they dropped such a responsibility on you already in the first season?

"It's from home. My mother spoke for large companies in the economy. From a young age she taught me how to interview and how to express myself in the best way. In Be'er Sheva they probably noticed this and decided to send me to many press parties."

Tell about your feelings before the final.

You were with your back to the wall.

While Maccabi Haifa came with three titles, you had one chance to win one title.

How stressed was it?

"We came in great. The team prepared us most professionally. We were so hungry we did not see a movie that we would go out without the trophy."

Was there not an element of increased pressure in the hotel before the game?

"There was pressure in both clubs before the game. Pressure and tension. But we came confident and with a perfect approach to the game. We deserved to win in 90 minutes. We neutralized Maccabi Haifa with all its talent. We completely controlled the field."

"Professional staff at the highest level."

Barda (Photo: Kobi Eliyahu)

Who was responsible for the wonderful preparation you made?

"We have a professional team at the highest level possible."

But inexperienced staff on the lines.

"Alinib Barda and Maor Melikson are the greatest players who have played football here. They understand football at the highest possible level. Beyond tactics they are strong on the mental level. These are two people I look up to with admiration. I admire Barda and Melikson. They have won everything"

they know to touch. The best player?

"Both mentally and professionally. We also have the Lebanese age in the mental help and I personally have Shai Hess as a personal goalkeeping coach. He prepared wonderfully."

"He deserves a good word."

You heard that Roi Mishpati was injured and that Josh Cohen was in great doubt.

Surely you were interested in the fact that Roy Fox might stand in this game.

"I know the three goalkeepers of Maccabi Haifa very well. I trained with Roi Fox at Maccabi Haifa. He is a young goalkeeper and he played an excellent game. He deserves a good word."

Your heart went out to him for the whole situation?

"I'm in a very good relationship with Roi. A very good friend. Before the game I did not get to talk to him because everyone was in his own space. He wished me congratulations after the game and I love him. He dealt with the situation at the highest possible level. It's not a matter of By starting in the squad in such a position after not playing all season. "

Were there any special teasing from Maccabi Haifa fans who stood on your back?

"Normal teasing. Something that is the norm in football. It doesn't affect me anyway. I got used to these things. During the game you do not feel it."

Missed a career in yellow?

Glazer vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv (Photo: Ariel Shalom)

You are on a great track that includes Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Why did you miss a career at Maccabi Tel Aviv?

"I chose a different route. Maccabi Tel Aviv had foreign goalkeepers at the time. Vincent Anima, one of the greatest goalkeepers who played here, was there. I saw less of my future in the senior team there, so I went to Raanana, where the seniors were in the Premier League at the time. Me from them. "

When you played with Dan Glazer, they probably thought you were family.

"It happened a lot that they were sure we were family. Dan and I are really good friends."

Dan's family section is actually with another goalkeeper, Daniel Peretz who is his cousin.

What do you say about his ascent?

"Daniel is having an excellent season. He has a great future. He received a wide coverage at Maccabi Tel Aviv. He is very trusted."

Should not go to foreign goalkeepers in the country?

"There are a lot of excellent Israeli goalkeepers who need to be given time and patience. There is no need to run to the foreign goalkeepers market."

He is now returning to the national uniform.

After the summons to the Israeli team, it does not matter who will stand at the gate, we have a problem in stationary situations.

"Most of the exiles in football come from stationary situations. You will see the exiles in this final. Almost everything is from stationary situations. It is not just a matter of the Israeli team. There are lifts at a very high level and it makes it very difficult for the defenses."

Do you feel a sense of missing out on this season of Hapoel Beer Sheva?

"There were games in which we could close the gap with Maccabi Haifa. But we had a great season. We were until the last second in the fight for all the titles."

Waited for approval, and ran to celebrate.

Glazer (Photo: Bernie Ardov)

By the way, in the last penalty you stopped Mavis Chibuta saw that while everyone is happily pinning on you, you are afraid that Daniel Bar Natan will cancel the penalty.

It took a few seconds until he confirmed.

"Before the penalty I went to Daniel Bar-Natan and said to him, 'If I stop the penalty, it's over, yes?'. So he replied, 'Yes.' Just wait for me to be confirmed that the penalty is legal even if you stop. 'The Hoar system is the one that determines on penalties if the goalkeeper did not jump ahead of time. Is legal. "

The picture of your kiss with Itai Schechter has gone viral.

"Itai Schechter is a very big figure in football. A man you can not dislike. He came to me at the end and said to me: 'You do not know how much I love you' and pushed me a boss forward. Itay Shechter is hard to refuse. Schechter is a legend. Every player should experience "Itai Schechter in his career. Every player dreams of having Schechter in the locker room. Until this season I did not understand what they were talking about, but after the season I understand and big. Until you experience it on a daily basis, you do not know who Itai Schechter is."
