World number one Iga Swiatek continues to rush from victory to victory.

In just 61 minutes, the 20-year-old Pole defeated Alison Riske of the USA 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the third round of the French Open.

For Swiatek it was already the 30th win in a row.

On Friday, the top favorite for the title still wants to be back on the training ground.

“I'll work on everything.

I'm a perfectionist," said Swiatek, who now meets Danka Kovinic from Montenegro on Saturday and should hardly be challenged there either.

Paula Badosa is likely to be the biggest competitor on the way to the final.

The fourth in the world rankings defeated Kaja Juvan from Slovenia 7: 5, 3: 6, 6: 2.

Despite the mixed performance in this game, the 24-year-old Spaniard is to be expected.

"I feel better on clay game by game," said Badosa.

Medvedev with an easy program

In the men's category, Daniil Medvedev easily advanced to the third round.

The 26-year-old Russian won against the Serb Laslo Djere 6: 3, 6: 4, 6: 3.

The second in the world rankings needed 2:35 hours for his success.

Since the other favorites in Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev are all in the other half of the tournament, Medvedev can get in shape relatively undeterred on the sand he does not particularly love.
